SEW A ROW:

A technique filled workshop sure to enlighten even the most experienced quilter. Fourteen different construction techniques are covered in the making of this quilt: bias bar appliqué, fusible appliqué, faced appliqué, hand appliqué, machine appliqué, fast flying geese, migrating geese, English paper piecing, quick dresden fans, “Thirty Something” units, yo - yo’s and more! Suitable as a demonstration type workshop if one day, hands on type workshop if two days or more. Great technique building workshop for those with basic skills and beyond.

BOB QUILT:

An original design that creates pleasing overall pattern of stars. Pattern was created by overlapping one block upon another in a computer design program - thus the name - Block On Block or BOB quilt. This striking project can be made by any level quilter and in a variety of different sizes. Techniques covered include strip piecing,”Fast Flying Geese” and folded corners.

CONFETTI STARS:

Use Deb’s new ruler and technique - the “Rapid Fire Hunter’s Star” and a collection of fat quarters to produce this wonderful burst of color. The technique streamlines construction of the traditional Hunter’s Star block actually allowing students to strip piece much of the design. A specifically designed ruler is then used to trim down blocks to precise sizes and produce a truly magnificent end result. Best suited to those with some prior quilt making experience. Full View

MILLENNIUM STAR:

Another original design created by overlapping one block upon another in a computer design program. Frequently used as my beginner class project it can be made simply with three different colors or it can be altered slightly with a five color option. Techniques include strip piecing and “folded corners” and makes a truly magnificent overall design. Suitable for all level quilters. Alternate Example
